This volume contains the proceedings of conference on fourth national symposium on frontiers of physics held in Islamabad (Pakistan) on 15-18 Apr 1992, is series of symposia to share the knowledge among the physicist. This conference was attended by 141 participants and 45 speakers delivered the lectures in this symposium. This proceeding is mainly divided in to three parts i.e. lasers, atomic and molecular physics ii) condensed matter physics and material science iii) plasma physics (A.B.)
