B.W.R. (boiling water reactors) stability from dynamic reconstruction and autoregressive model analysis: application to Cofrentes nuclear power plant
- 1. Polytechnic University, Valencia (Spain). Dept. of Chemical and Nuclear Engineering
Description
In this paper we have developed a method to estimate Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) Dynamic Reconstruction techniques. This method can be applied to real systems with large amounts of noise where other Dynamic Reconstruction methods fail and have been applied to small data series of low precision with good results. We have compared Lyapunov exponents estimations by autoregressive model analysis, with Dynamic Reconstruction estimation, and the results show that Dynamic Reconstruction estimations are better. However both methods are complementary and can provide better estimations of BWR stability. (Author)
