Mean square force in simple liquids and solids from isotope effect studies
Description
Experimental and theoretical studies on the isotopic separation factor and vapor pressure ratio in Ne, Ar, and Kr are critically reviewed. The information that can be obtained from these studies on the mean square force between liquid and solid states, translational motion in a condensed phase, the law of corresponding states, and radial distribution functions are analyzed.
