Thermal stability of complexes of some rare earth acetates with carbamide
Creators
Description
By the methods of thermoqravimetry complexes of neodymium, gadolinium, erbium and ytterbium acetates with carbamide are investigated. The NdAc3x3CO(NH2)2x4H2O melts at 130 deg C with splitting two molecules of water. The GdAc3x3CO(NH2)2x4H2O, ErAc3x2CO(NH2)2x2H2O and 2YbAc33CO(NH2)2x4H2O melt respectively at 100 deg, 90 deg and 100-120 deg C without mass loss. Total complexes decomposition occurs at 460-700 deg C with formation of corresponding RE oxides
