High-current frequency commutator in pulsed neutron logging equipment

Description

Principal parameters have been studied of a frequency high-current commutator of the SKE-6 type used in the high-voltage pulse shaper circuits of borehole neutron generator units. Parameter variation limits of the commutator in the frequency mode have been found, their averaged time dependences and parameter variations from device to device obtained. Data are presented for the optimization of the commutator connection within the equipment of pulsed neutron-neutron logging, that makes it possible substantially enhance its life time and stability
