Limit on tau neutrino mass
Description
Using the complete data sample of 300 pb/sup -1/ collected by the HRS spectrometer in e/sup +/e/sup -/ collisions at 29 GeV, a mass limit for the tau neutrino is set. The end point of the hadronic mass spectrum is determined in the decays tau → 5π/sup +-/ν/sub tau/ and 5π/sup +-/π/sup 0/ν/sub tau/. At 95% confidence level, an upper limit of Mν/sub tau/ < 76 MeV/c/sup 2/, is found
