Nucleate boiling heat transfer on the sintered metal surface

  • 1. Dong Yang Technical College, Seoul (Republic of Korea)

Description

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the potential ability of sintered metal to promote heat transfer. The boiling heat transfer on the sintered metal is investigated and compared with that of the stainless steel plate atmospheric pressure. The experimental results are obtained as follows: 1. The generation of incipient bubble and nucleate boiling region is appeared at the lower ΔTsat as the increase of particle diameter of sintered metal. 2. Experimental equation is set up by making use Stanton Number and Reynolds Number as follows; St ∝ Re-0.9911.17 (St: Stanton Number, Re: Reynolds Number). (Author)
