Mixed rare earth oxocuprates

Description
A series of mixed oxocuprates of ABCuO4 type where A and B-different rare earths os prepared. They are isostructural and crystallized in the structural K2NiF4 type (tetragonal lattices.) Lattice parameters of the compounds are determined and their physico-chemical properties are studied. Thermal stability of ABCuO4 compounds decreases in the LaBCuO4, NdBCuO4 etc., series with the increase of A and B element ordinal number (i.e. from Pr to Dy). Measurement of specific electric resistance and type of its temperature dependence (t=278-1250 K) point out semiconductive nature of all the investigated compounds
