The presentation describes the implementation of the UK nuclear legacy programme at Andreeva bay, a former Navy base, in 2011. • Installation of protective biological shielding over three spent nuclear fuel (SNF) Storage Units. • Construction of new Decontamination and Maintenance facility. • Design of Enclosure around the SNF Storage Units for containment of fuel handling operations. • Preparation for construction of the SNF Enclosure (old equipment dismantling, ground level reduction).
