Description

Object: To uniformalize the temperature and speed of a coolant at the outlet of a fuel assembly of a fast neutron reactor in order to stabilize the operation of measuring instruments within the reactor. Structure: In a fuel assembly in which shields having coolant passages are provided above and below fuel pins, the coolant passages are inclined with respect to the direction of the core axis to permit mixing of the coolant at the outlet of the fuel assembly.
