Search for rare decays KL0 → μe, and ee at KEK

Description

We report on the present status of a search for the rare decays KL0 → μe and ee at the KEK 12 GeV PS. The preliminary results obtained with run of about 3,000 hours are; BR(KL0 → μμ) = (8.4±1.1) x 10-9, BR(KL0 → μe) < 4.2 x 10-10 and BR(KL0 → ee) < 5.4 x 10-10 at 90% CL. (orig.)
