Description
This work has been carried out on 5 bars of Alloy 800 grade 1 which differ in their titanium and aluminium contents. In the 550-600 deg. C range, these materials are hardened by y' - Ni3 (Ti, Al) precipitation. The study of the characteristics of nucleation, growth and coarsening of y' and the simultaneous evolution of mechanical properties have shown that: - The degree of increase of hardness, proof and tensile strength, as well as creep strength, rise in relation to equivalent titanium content (Ti eq = Ti free + Al/2 + Si/16). - For a given volume fraction and mean radius of particles, all these increases are also related ta the (Ti/Al) ratio of the particles themselves. - The creep ductility at 600 deg. C is net appreciably affected and it is difficult to find a relationship between this property and the chemical composition, contrary to expectation. (author)
Abstract (French)
C n'a ete observee. (auteur)Files
