The Moessbauer effect study of the pseudo-binary system (Ti1-x Nbx) Fe2

Description
Moessbauer spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction measurements have been done on (Ti1-x Nbx)Fe2 in order to investigate the effect of Nb on the magnetic properties of TiFe2. The experimental results show that Nb enters in the Ti sites in the whole range of concentration and from the Moessbauer spectra at low temperature we have seen that Nb reduces the internal magnetic hyperfine field of Fe.
