B0-B-bar0 oscillations and parameters of the standard model

Description
The production of dileptons of the same sign in semileptonic decays of the (Bd0B-bard0) system is observed in experiments of the ARGUS group. This indicates the presence of large Bd0-B-bard0 oscillations. The next problem is the search for CP-odd effects in the decays of B-mesons. The CP-odd asymmetry in the yields of dileptons of a given sign are calculated for the standard model. The experimental values of xΔMBB-bar/ΓB and of the CP violation parameter in the K0-K-bar0 system is employed to calculate the t-quark mass mt and the CP-odd phase of the Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix as a function of the ratio R=Γ(b→ueν)/Γ(b→ceν) in the standard model. If R<0.1 then mt>80 GeV
