A test of LPM theory using emulsion chamber data
Creators

Description
As a by-product of an emulsion chamber investigation of the primary electron spectrum, a sample of 27 photon cascades with E > 1 TeV is obtained. Relevant parameters of the showers, as well as the average energy and average starting point, are given. The mean starting point is considerably deeper than the Bethe-Heitler prediction, and significantly deeper than the Landau-Pomeranchuk-Migdal value at 10 TeV
