Scintillation of lead Tin Fluorophosphates glass doped with stilbene 420 by gamma ray

Description
Prepared Lead Tin Fluorophosphates (PTFP) glass doped with organic dye stilbene 420. The melting temperature of doped glass is below 250 degree,and the characteristic temperature is about 75 degree. Measured the luminescence excited by 60Co 1.25 MeV gamma ray, compared with organic scintillator ST401 with the same thickness. The scintillation of doped PTFP glass is 1 to 2 percent of ST401.
