Study on hydro-test pump turbine operation of nuclear power plant
Description
Since the Fukushima accident, the capacity of the nuclear power plant in station blackout accident has been widely concerned in the industry. The hydro-test pump turbine can maintain the integrity of a loop pressure boundary and to supply power to instruments needed for nuclear power plant operation in case of station blackout. It is of great significance for the safety of nuclear power plant. This paper studies the principle structure, important function and normal operation of the hydro-test pump turbine (Code: LLS) of a typical 600 MW PWR nuclear power plant. At the same time, operating conditions and tests for small steam turbine are introduced. Finally, from the actual operation point of view, some problems in the actual operation of small turbine in a nuclear power plant are analyzed, and solutions are discussed based on the analytical results.
