Optimized design for the flow distribution device of nuclear reactor internals based on CFD simulation

Description
ANSYS CFX12.l software is effectively used to analyse the flow field inside the pressure vessel of the pressurized water reactor developed by China Guangdong Nuclear Power Company. The pressure drop, core inlet flow distribution and coolant mixture were obtained in order to assess the hydraulic performance of two types of flow distribution structures, The optimized flow distribution structure was improved and determined by comparison.
