Description
Oxygen abundances have been determined in HII regions in 12 low surface brightness galaxies. The dwarf irregulars conform with evolution as closed systems, but the situation is less clear with the faint spirals. The importance of one gas rich, low luminosity barred spiral is pointed out. (author)
