Description
It is argued that four-dimensional lattices based on the (co)roots of the exceptional Lie algebra F4 are singularly well suited for the regularization of scalar fields. For the study of the strongly interacting sector of the standard model with a heavy Higgs particle a specific Madelung constant will be needed. This number is evaluated for the F4 coroot lattice.
