Extraction-spectrophotometric determination of microgram quantities of uranium with benzoyltrifluoroacetone
Description
A sensitive extraction-spectrophotometric method of determining low uranium contents has been evaluated. Modifications have increased the extraction of uranium from <97% to > 99%, increased the buffering capacity for acid, and improved greatly the tolerance for extraneous ions by incorporating an effective masking agent. The non-auromated version of the method is presented. (Auth.)
