Description
A multi-channel solid state detector (MCSSD) has been developed and coupled with a data processing system. The prototype detector has 5 channels. Its position resolution is about 0.8 mm, the energy resolution is 600 eV, and the uniformity of detection efficiency for the channels is about 5%. This MCSSD has been used for measuring the effects of X-ray anomalous scattering and will be effective in using white X-rays for crystal structure analyses. (orig.)
