New era begins in Trieste

Description
At the International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste a new era of joint management by the Agency and UNESCO has begun. It was inaugurated early in January by the opening of a three months' 'Winter College', a course on solid state physics. More than 130 students are taking part, coming from 42 countries. (author)
