Ordered structure of quenched vanadium-nitrogen solid solution
Description
X-ray diffraction study of the ordered structure of the quenching approximately equal to Vsub(8)N(Vsub(16)Nsub(1.5)) is carried out in the sample presenting the result of multiple twinning as to one and the same plane. In the approximation of tetragonal symmetry of the elementary cell of the phase (sp.gr. p42/mnm) positional parameters of the metal atoms are specified and according to the minimum of R-factor particular position which is occupied by nitrogen atoms is determined
