Unified cross section scaling for electron capture from excited hydrogen atoms by multicharged ions
Description
A scaling formula is derived for the total electron capture cross section in collisions of excited hydrogen atoms with multiply charged ions. The formula is valid in the energy range from ∝0.1q0.5/n2 keV/amu to ∝q0.5/n2 MeV/amu. (orig.)
