Photon target using self-start build-up cavity for laser compton sources

Description
High intensity photon target is the key component of Laser-Compton sources. Optical build-up cavity has been used to realize such a target especially with a continuous operation accelerator. We have proposed a new scheme of optical cavity, which combines a laser amplifier with a build-up cavity to make the system self-starting oscillator. It does not require a precision control of cavity resonance and enables to handle very high finesse cavity. (author)
