Synthesis and investigation of lanthanide complexes with imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid

Description

Lanthanide (Ln) complexes with imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid (IDCA) were prepared and separated in solid form. Infrared spectroscopic and thermogravimetric investigations of these compounds were conducted. The data of thermogravimetry and elementary analysis were used to establish that IDCA compounds with lanthanides are characterized by the following composition: Lnx(IDCA)3x4H2O
