Description
The ground-state bands of odd-mass nuclei are studied within the framework of the core-particle coupling model. The space of core states includes both the ground state and β bands. Energies and electromagnetic transition probabilities are investigated for the cases 155Gd, 157Dy and 175Hf. Reasonably good agreement with experiment is found. (author)
