Pion interactions with very light nuclei
Description
Pion-nucleus reactions on light nuclei are considered. The optical and Glauber models are used. Calculations of cross section of pion scattering on deuteron, pion elastic and inelastic scattering on 2He and 4He are carried out. Experimental data are compared with predictions of theoretical models. It is shown that in the case of inelastic scattering the agreement between calculated and experimental results is slightly worse than in the case of elastic scattering
