Complexation of manganese(II), cobalt(II), nickel(II), zink(II), and cadmium(II) cations with amoxicillin

Description
The interaction of amoxicillin anions (Axn-) with Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Zn2+, and Cd2+ in aqueous solution at 20 deg C and an ionic strength of 0.1 (KNO3) has been studied pH-metrically. In a neutral and weak alkaline solution, MAxn+ and M(OH)Axn complexes are formed. The formation constants and the pH ranges of existence of these complexes have been determined
Abstract (Russian)
рН-Метрическим методом исследовано взаимодействие анионов амоксициллина (Axn-) с ионами Мn2+, Со2+, Ni2+, Zn2+ и Cd2+ в водном растворе при 20 град С и ионной силе 0.1 (KNO3). Установлено, что в нейтральной и слабощелочной средах образуются комплексы состава MAxn+ и М(ОН)Ахn. Определены константы образования и области рН существования этих комплексовAdditional details
