The charge form factor of the 6Li nucleus

Description
A single-particle model is used for the calculation of the charge form factor of 6Li in Born approximation. Very satisfactory overall fit to elastic-electron-scattering data is observed with three adjustable parameters, but very large theoretical ambiguities exist at high momentum transfers, which should affect at least the best-fit values. The value of (r'20sub(ch)sup(1/2) obtained (2.457 fm) compares very well with the model-independent one (2.51+-0.1) fm
