Charmed particles produced in neutrino p interactions in BEBC
Description
A summary is given on the results of the observations of charmed meson and charmed baryon production in neutrino p interactions observed in BEBC. Three examples of D0 production are found, two of which come from the decay D*+ → D0 + π+. Also three events with a Λ+sub(c) in the final state are observed of which one appears to come from the decay of the Σ++sub(c). The mass value derived for the Λ+sub(c) is 2283 +- 3 MeV and that for the Σ++sub(c) is 2454 +- 5 MeV
