Effect of Ni and Cu fine powder additions on the properties of heat resistant steels

Description

Effect of additions of ultrafine Ni and Cu powders on sintering and properties of high-temperature steels produced from powders of various composition, dispersity and morphology has been studied. Complex additions containing 0.3-0.4% C, 0.35-0.50% ultrafine nickel powder or 0.5% ultrafine copper powder homogenize structure and increase physical and mechanical properties of dispersion-strengthened by 0.3-0.7% Al2O3 steels. It is established that the mixture of addition of ultrafine powder Al2O3 with graphite to steel powders intensifies refining action of carbon

Abstract (Russian)

Исследовано влияние добавок ультрадисперсных порошков (УДП) Ni и Cu на спекание и свойства жаропрочных сталей на основе порошков различного состава, дисперсности и морфологии. Композиционные добавки, содержащие (0.3-0.4)% C, (0.35-0.50)% УДП Ni или 0.50% УДП Cu, активируют спекание, гомогенизируют структуру и повышают физико-механические свойства сталей, дисперсно-упрочненных добавками (0.3-0.7)% Al2O3. Подшихтовка к стальным порошкам УДП Al2O3 в смеси с графитом усиливает рафинирующее действие углерода
