An overview is provided of remote techniques employed by Nuclear Electric by reviewing the inspection techniques and their application. It further reviews the enabling technologies that have been developed, their adaption to remote repair applications and the necessary development of delivery systems and summarises the repairs and re-enforcements that have been developed to secure the operational life of the reactor plant.
