Statement presented to the ISF Energie Commission, the 27th April 1979, giving details about the repair works on the water pressurised reactor of the nuclear power plant at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The 28th March, at 4 o'clock in the morning a failure causing the stopping of the steam generator water feed, in connection with another deficiency (no standby feed), causes a lack of water in the secondary circuit. A series of events leads afterwards to the very serious reported accident

Expose presente a la commission Energie des ISF le 27 avril 1979 et donnant des details sur les travaux de reparation du reacteur a eau pressurisee de la centrale nucleaire d'Harrisburg en Pennsylvanie. Le 28 mars, a 4 h du matin, une defaillance, panne provoquant l'arret de l'alimentation en eau des generateurs de vapeur, conjuguee avec une defectuosite grave (pas d'alimentation de secours), a entraine une absence d'eau du cote secondaire. Toute une serie d'evenements ont conduit ensuite a l'accident tres grave que l'on connaitAdditional details
