Description

Concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) is the main treatment for locally advanced cervical cancer. Intravoxel incoherent motion diffusion weighted imaging (IVIM-DWI) and dynamic contrast enhancement MRI (DCE-MRI) can quantitatively reflect water molecular diffusion and blood perfusion, and these quantitative parameters can be used to evaluate the cell density and microcirculation status of tumor tissues in vivo, thus can be used to evaluate the early efficacy and estimate the prognosis of cervical cancer after CCRT. The research advances of IVIM-DWI and DCE-MRI in the evaluation of the efficacy of CCRT for locally advanced cervical cancer were reviewed. (authors)
