Specific features of fracture in granular nickel alloy type EhP741NP under low-cycle fatigue testing

Description
Specimens of granular alloy type EhP741NP (Ni-5%Al-2%Ti-9%Cr-16%Co) were investigated under low-cycle fatigue testing at 650 deg C. Fracture initiation was shown to occur at local structural defects. Nonmetallic inclusions about 200 μm in size were revealed to be prevailing types of zones of fracture
