Effect of ligands on thermoluminescent properties of rare earth complexes

Description
Coordination compounds of [TbL2(β)(NO3)2]·H2O composition, where β - anions of acetylacetone (Acac), benzoylacetone (Ba), benzoyl trifluoroacetone, thenoyltrifluoroacetone, hexafluoroacetylacetone; L - 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen), 2,2'-dipyridyl (Di py), are synthesized and studied by the methods of luminescent and EPR spectroscopy. In [Tb(Phen)2Acac(NO3)2]·H2O, [Tb(Di py)2Acac(NO3)2]·H2O, Tb(Phen)2BA(NO3)2]·H2O compounds thermoluminescence is detected. Electronic aspects of ligand effect on formation of thermoluminescent properties of complexes are discussed. Anion-radical mechanism of formation of the trap state in compounds studied is proposed
Abstract (Russian)
Синтезированы и изучены методами люминесцентной и ЭПР спектроскопии координационные соединения состава [TbL2(β)(NO3)2]·H2O, где β - анионы ацетилацетона (Acac), бензоилацетона (BA), бензоилтрифторацетона, теноилтрифторацетона, гексафторацетилацетона; L - 1,10-фенантролин (Phen), 2,2'-дипиридил (Dipy). В соединениях [Tb(Phen)2Acac(NO3)2]·H2O, [Tb(Dipy)2Acac(NO3)2]·H2O, Tb(Phen)2BA(NO3)2]·H2O обнаружена термолюминесценция. Обсуждены электронные аспекты влияния лигандов на формирование термолюминесцентных свойств комплексов.
