Description
The paper deals with investigations and calibration of the gamma-ray measurements under model conditions, in order to lay the foundations of practical applications. Well logging tools for determining the natural radioactive material content of rocks must be calibrated for energy. The pulse numbers obtained in different energy windows are strongly influenced by the borehole conditions and for correct interpretation of natural gamma-ray spectral measurements these effects should be taken into account.
