Higgs searches in the vector boson fusion channels in ATLAS
Description
Studies on the Higgs boson search in the ATLAS group at LHC are presented. Especially recent studies on searches for Higgs bosons in the Vector Boson Fusion process which improve the situation in the light Higgs boson region are reported. As a result it is possible to discover a Higgs boson over the mass range from 135 to 190 GeV only with an integrated luminosity of 10fb-1. With an integrated luminosity of 30fb-1, the discovery of Higgs boson can be possible down to 115 GeV, the upper limit from the direct searches by the LEP experiments. (author)
