Description
The paper is devoted to controlled electron detectors based on the extraction of excess electrons from some dielectrics under the influence of an electric field. Possible working media and principles of detection are considered. The described emission detectors are extremely sensitive to low ionizing radiation and may be useful for underground physics and for nuclear medicine applications
