Installation for inspecting metallic inner surfaces of reactor pressure vessels

Description

The installation has been aimed at thoroughly inspecting the inside metallic surfaces of reactor pressure vessels by means of a remote viewing equipment consisting of a microscope and a TV camera. The inspection is done from a radiation-shielded container inside the reactor vessel. By transmission into the shielded container the detected faults can be recorded photographically
