On a sign of higher order relativistic corrections to the impulse approximation in elastic ed-scattering

Description

On the basis of a relativistic integral presentation for deuteron electromagnetic form factors the value and the sign of different order relativistic corrections (RC) to a generalized pulse approximation in elastic ed-scattering are calculated. The relativistic correction of the second order contrary to the Casper-Gross correction is positive and increases the value of non-relativistic deuteron charge form factor (DCFF) in the range 0.044 2)) have the opposite signs. The relativistic calculation increases the DCFF as compared with the non-relativistic one by 0.04-63.0% at 0.044<=Q2<=45 fm-2
