The structure of galactic nuclei and its implications for cosmic ray physics

  • 1. Institut fuer Reine und Angewandte Kernphysik, Kiel (Federal Republic of Germany)

Description

A self-consistent conjecture of the grand design of spiral galaxies is suggested. Models of galactic structure based on this conjecture may be useful for studying cosmic ray phenomena in our galaxy. Suggestions are implied pertaining to the physical conditions in the central region of spiral galaxies
