Synthesis, crystal structure, Moessbauer spectra and dielectric property of La1-xSrxFe1-xTixO3 (x=0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1)
Description
La1-xSrxFe1-xTixO3 (x=0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1) are synthesized by a wet chemical method. The crystal structure of the compounds belongs to orthorhombic system when x<0.5 and to cubic system when x≥0.5. Moessbauer spectra of the 57Fe nucleus demonstrate that the iron ion in the compounds is trivalent and in high spin state and the distribution of Fe ion at the B site in the lattice of La1-xSrxFe1-xTixO3 is random. The orthorhombic compound is magnetic and the cubic compound is paramagnetic. The frequency dependence of the dielectric loss of the orthorhombic compound in the region from 10 kHz to 1 MHz is very different from that of the cubic compound
