The civil nuclear energy in the time framework of climatic changes
Description
The report deals with the french nuclear park, the wastes and the downstream cycle. The author aims to show that the main problem of the nuclear energy is bound to the plutonium and its decay products and not the wastes disposal. For each wastes categories, the results and the research program of improvement are presented. For some wastes the interim storage is necessity. The most radiologic risk is then bound to the plutonium. The author recommends the plutonium separation. Practical recommendations are proposed to improve the radioprotection, to develop the radiobiology and the the epidemiological approach and to decrease the proliferation risks. (A.L.B.)
