Security system for equipment prone to shock, and radiology system
Description
An antenna plate surrounds that part of an equipment supporting plate likely to suffer impact and is attached to it by springs which are in tension. Fingers attached to the antenna plate engage with inverted deformable cones fixed to the equipment support plate. Normally the springs connected between the antenna plate and the equipment supporting plate, press the fingers into the inverted deformable cones keeping the adjacent electrical ball switches closed. On impact, the antenna plate and its fingers are displaced and the ball switches are opened, stopping the actuating motors. (authors)
