STUDY OF IMPACT STRENGTH OF COMPOSITES ON POLYCARBONATE BASIS
Creators
- 1. R. Dvali Institute of Machine Mechanics, Tbilisi (Georgia)
Description
The dependence of specific impact strength of the developed composites on polycarbonate basis on the concentration of different fillers such as graphite, molybdenum disulphide, glass fiber, graphite fiber, powders of iron, cobalt, nickel and tungsten is studied. It is shown that at low filling (10-30 mass%) Co, Ni and W filled composites have high specific impact strength equal to that of nonfilled polycarbonate. (author)
