Phenomenological NN potential from the analysis of three- and four-particle nuclei
Description
Upper and lower variational estimates of the energy of nuclei with A = 3 and 4 are calculated using the multiparticle variational procedure proposed in the present study. The great effectiveness of this procedure in the case of three-, four-, and five-particle systems is illustrated by several examples. Semirealistic central pairing NN potentials are constructed which lead to the correct binding energies, sizes, and form factors of the nuclei 3H, 3He, and 4He. It is shown that the potentials constructed may be consistent with the s phases of np scattering and also with the binding energy and size of the deuteron
