Priority researches' directions of thermal safety problems for nuclear power plants

Priority researches' and development's directions, which are performed by the heating equipment for nuclear reactors' safety department were reviewed. The well-known methods of diagnostics and controls of a vapor phase generating process in water-cooled nuclear reactor were critically analyzed. The tasks of developing a new generation of diagnostic systems based on predictive software were analyzed.
